Doing make up was something that came naturally to me when I was very young, I was always curious looking at magazines and trying to emulate and create my own looks. The art of makeup was always fascinating to me and was a quality that was innate. I began with MAC cosmetics in 2000 and trained as a makeup artist till 2004 which allowed me to advance my skill set and creativity. After MAC I was the regional makeup artist for Channel in which my main locations were mainly Neiman Marcus, Saks and Bloomingdales within DC, MD and VA to do makeup for clients and special events. I then worked as a Regional makeup artist for YSL and traveled between locations in DC, MD and VA also to do makeup for clients and special events. During that time I was also involved in doing the makeup for commercials for Rouche Salon in Washington, DC. I was also worked as a makeup artist in fashion shows for the brand “Troy Kingdom” a designer in Los Angeles, CA. I have also done makeup for numerous weddings and photo shoots.
